Yesterday we got a late start and last night there were some technical difficulties that came about after a poor shifting decision was made.
This morning, a great bike mechanic and overall cool dude, Rodney, at New Hope Cyclery helped us out and we’re rolling for real today!
Only a few days left until departure! The dog pod is ready, the panniers are almost totally packed, the bikes are cleaned and tuned up, and the forecast for next week is looking favorable for a lovely start! We’ll miss all of our friends dearly, but we’re looking forward to staying in touch and sharing our trip progress here.
