Over this past summer, I started going for rides in a dog-carrier made for planes and travel that was secured to the back rack of my human’s bicycle. This was a far superior way to cruise around in style, and also very pleasing to the human, who had previously carried me backpack-style in the red carrier.

I’m a near 60 year old with only the last 6 years experience in touring and I’m hooked! A year ago I brought my sock monkey, Stanley on the Oregon coast ride(he has his own FB page with posts of his ride with me). We met many great ppl along the way travelling as well! Well last year I began thinking of getting a small travelling dog when my Dane was gone(he’s 10 and MUCH too big for bike travel 🙂 Anyway,I’m so inspired by your travels and can’t wait to get a new touring bike and pup to begin a new journey! I live in Salem, so please, please look me up when you come thru! I’ll feed and house ya and share stories! I love what you are doing!
